FULL TEXT OF CHARTER
Ego Laurentius dei gratia sancti Richarii dictus abbas uniuersis fidelibus inperpetuum. Certum est ecclesiam sancti Martini Tornacensis domum boni testimonii possidere in pago Nouiomensi constructam in honore sancti Amandi que uicina est uille nostre que Ciuinocurtis uocatur. Qua uero totam totius controuersie occasionem tam nos quam ipsi a nobis amouere uolumus formam que dilectionis que semper maneat in alterutrum imprimere gestimus dicta quorumdam qui nobis suggerunt malignari contra eandem domum prorsus abbicientes cum nil certum neque nos nec fratres predicte domus unde nobis dampnum inferatur habeamus tandem ob mutue pacis custodiam ab eadem domo oblatum nobis id est uini quartarium pro decima de tali uino quod de uinagio recipitur cum VI minis annone et totidem auene quas nobis singulis annis soluunt gratanter accipimus quatinus sopito turbine omnis discordie quod in presenti tenent anno scilicet uerbi incarnati MCLXXXIIII libere in perpetuum teneant absque ulla contradictione. Notum autem sit omnibus quod ab annis prioribus primum quartarium uini nobis debebant quod a modo a successoribus Arnulfi molendinarii assensu capituli Tornacensis in uilla nostra de Ciuinocurte sicut illud hereditario iure tenebant accipiemus. Secundum uero quartarium in uinea sancti Amandi sicut uinagium per ministros nostros requiremus et receptum asportabimus. Quod ut ratum semper maneat bono pacis intuitu presentis pagine scripto confirmamus et sigillorum nostrorum impressionibus roboramus. Actum est hoc anno uerbi incarnati M° C° LXXXIIII°.
