FULL TEXT OF CHARTER
In nomine sancte et indiuidue trinitatis. Philippus dei gratia sancte Coloniensis ecclesie humilis pastor omnibus iusticie amatoribus qui ad hoc scriptum inflexerint oculos iusticiam amplecti et fine felici uitam consummare. Inter ecclesiam Niuellensem et monasterium Villariense lis uertebatur super scripti cuiusdam ambiguitate. Domini imperatoris auctoritate freti et nostra partibus etiam suum ad hoc assensum inclinantibus litem iuste sopiuimus scripto a nobis congruam accipiente interpretationem. Monasterium predictum a placitis omnibus generaliter erit liberum hoc excepto quod in capitulo Niuellensi fratres conueniri poterunt in his que ab ecclesia possidet monasterium. Priuilegium monasterio datum fratribus et pecoribus eorum usum indulget in siluis aquis et pascuis more mansionariorum ita scilicet ut fratribus et mansionariis usus sit communis sed onus non idem mansionarii enim panniri possunt sed non monasterium. Si quis ad monasterium pertinens a forestario super excessu in lignis facto pulsabitur Niuellense capitulum abbatem citabit qui si excessum confessus fuerit dampna data in triplum resarciet si uero negauerit ad plenam purgationem duorum conuersorum laicorum iuramenta sufficient. Terra que in supradicto priuilegio sub certo bonuariorum numero continetur iterum mensuretur et quantum bonariorum accreuerit numero tantum et iuxta priorem quantitatem accrescet et censui si quid uero defuerit census similiter minuetur. Actum Colonie sollempniter anno ab incarnatione domini M° centesimo LXXX° quarto indictione secunda quinto idus maii.
